THE CZECH FEMALE ARTIST VERA ŠIMONOVÁ-KAPLANOVÁ

Vera Kaplanová (* Prague 23.08.1920) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (1939), she was a pupil of Cyril Bouda and O. Blazicka. She was married with the artist Pavel Šimon, son of the renowned painter Tavík František Šimon and his wife Vilma Kraciková. With him she had a daughter Alena (* Prague 1950).
