The famous Czech artist T. F. Šimon (1877-1942) travelled frequently and sent many letters and postcards, mainly to his family and the artist Hugo Boettinger. Most of these correspondences, often with interesting information about his travels and work, are now in the TF Šimon-archives of the Literary Museum in the castle of Staré Hrady, south-west of Jicín in Czechia, not far from his native town Zeleznice. 
We show you another collection of mostly unwritten postcards from the estate of the artist. These postcards are catalogued under their country of origin, with the English name and their place of origin in the native language. The title is according the postcard. Some of the postcards were sent to TF Šimon. 
The postcards are all from the first part of the 20th century and considered their age in good condition; otherwise we mention the defects; for example a few have little spots of paint left by the artist, in these cases very authentic, yet!

The writer is Alois Moravec (a Czech painter and graphic artist born 1899). H.Cabes(?) and V. Polivka (=Vaclav Polivka, a Czech painter and graphic artist born 1896 and lived in Strakonice) signed the postcard, too.

Ivan Šimon in Prague. Then the family Šimon lived in their new-built villa Zatorka 483 (also called V Tisine 10) in the quarter Bubenec. 
In may 1924 TF Šimon was in Italy, the card is dated 29/4 1924 and stamped in Rom. The artist writes he is enjoying his trip and the next day will travel to Neapoli (Napels).

This postcard was sent from Emil Kohler. He writes "Srdecne pozdravy"(= With kind regards).
