One of the first prints by the artist exhibited were
Portrait of Otokar Spaniel (N 27)
and Oxford Circus (N 35)


The artist was accepted by Salon d'Automne in 1905.
This Salon was set up in 1903.
One of the first organizers of the first exhibition in 1903 was Jacques Villon.
Villon was befriended and neighbour of the Czech artist Frantisek Kupka
since 1901 in Montmartre and when they moved both in 1906 to Puteaux as well.
